” It was the kind of day little girls dream about. The perfect weather, the perfect dress, the perfect husband-to-be. And not to mention, the sparkly diamond ring. For Heidi and Dave, dreams came true on this day. She was surrounded by her closest friends, her makeup immaculate and her hair perfectly held in place. Dave had his best buds with him, ready to celebrate the special day. Family came in from all corners of the world, friends came together and laughter sooned filled the air. The atmosphere at Bella Collina Country Club in San Clemente was electric, in a way that only happens on these magical afternoons. It was the perfect setting for the dreams of a little girl, all grown up, to come true.

The Mini Feather Flower is a mini flower to accent your gown when you want just a little hint of hair ornament. The center of the flower is a square Swarovski rhinestone and a tuft of vintage tulle adds a hint of texture. Two flowers are featured with a vintage net from the 1930′s.

The Olivia Veil is a fingertip length veil that skims over the shoulders and allows all the details of the back of the gown to show through. The edge is finished with a light silver edge.

Stylish and petite Nicole Vega, the accessory manager at Kleinfeld’s bridal salon knows everything about bridal accessories in New York. After all she is planning her own wedding. There is a major divide between what East and West Coast brides are demanding for bridal accessories. Does she know something I don’t know??? I was thrilled by the accessory she recently stocked in the salon. Gloves! It seems the vintage revival is also including a resurgence in beautiful lace and silk gloves. Kleinfeld’s has a designer Stacey that custom fits the gloves to the bride. I found myself day dreaming of my old idol Madonna desperately thinking how I could wear gloves in my life. Now I know why I have seen the young hipsters in the New York bars styled up in couture cuffs! Nicole’s main issue is how she will incorporate gloves in her own bridal ensemble as her favorite bridal accessory is the headpiece! I look forward to how she will style herself for her own wedding next year!
